i just found this post from a while a ago (last fall actually). the boys look waaaay smaller, it’s so crazy how time flies!!! i thought i would post it anyway since they are just so darn cute. we had a great little family vacation. it was a 4 day get away at blue mountain which is amazing and just 2 hours away in collingwood, ontario.

so here we go… up the gondola to the top of the mountain. tayus was happy to find a rock stuck on the gondola, jomei wasn’t sure it was safe at all.
the view was spectacular from the top of the mountain.
once we got to the top, what better way to get down then roll??? the boys decided it would be a great idea so off they went…
for a while we were playing lions and tigers in the grass. life is fun when you have no place to be, no deadlines & not a care in the world. ahhh, to be a child again eh?
that’s me back at the top of the hill, trying to round up the troops to go on our hike. rolling down was one thing but getting them to climb back up was another!!!

now i could have just posted the one photo above – sun shining through as the kids laugh and frolic… but we show a lot of family photos that proably give the impression we have these two little angels, always on their best behavior… blah blah blah. no way. these guys are two rough and tumble kind of boys and honestly sometimes it feels like we are just referees!!! ”don’t push him” and ” get off of him now” are futilely barked by yours truly a million times a day.

jomei is usually the one that ends up crying although he is getting tougher and can now give tayus a good run for his money.
back at the lodge a little snack while mommy and daddy play a huge game of checkers…
